Are you prepared for the extreme violence that is likely to come your way if the SHTF? No matter what your plan is, it’s entirely probable that at some point, you’ll be the victim of violence or have to perpetrate violence to survive. As always, Selco is our go-to guy on SHTF reality checks and this thought-provoking interview will shake you to your core.

If you don’t know Selco, he’s from Bosnia and he lived through a year in a city that was blockaded with no utilities, no deliveries of supplies, and no services. In his interviews, he shares what the scenarios the rest of us theorize about were REALLY like.  He mentioned to me recently that most folks aren’t prepared for the violence that is part and parcel of a collapse, which brings us to today’s…

Diary of a Mad Snow Shoveler…

December 8 - 6:00 PM. It started to snow. The first snow of the season and
my wife and I took our ####tails and sat for hours by the window watching
the huge soft flakes drift down from heaven. It looked like a Grandma Moses
print. So romantic we felt like newlyweds again. I love snow!

December 9 - We woke to a beautiful blanket of crystal white snow covering
every inch of the landscape. What a fantastic sight! Can there be a
more lovely place in the Whole World? Moving to Nova Scotia was the best idea
I've ever had. Shoveled for the first time in years and felt like a boy again.

Loonie Touches 2-Year High As Canada’s Economy Silences Doubters

Pretty shabby reporting Huffpost:

a) CDN$ is up only because USD$ has been dropping. Zero reflection on our economic activity.

b) The majority of Canada's current economic activity is debt fuelled and utterly unsustainable. Crash inevitable.

c) What was the result of the last dot com boom?

d) Silence doubters? 2 seconds with your favourite search engine will clearly show what a load of BS this statement is.

Article not worth the pixels its printed on . . .

Shame on you Justin Trudeau

I've never been one to say I told you so, but I told you so as did thousands of other Canadians. I would also suggest you take a look at the horrors committed in Yemen by your Saudi friends, horrors they continue to commit to this very day.

I would also like to point out something else for your consideration. Your comments quoted in the article:

"Prime Minister Justin Trudeau argued that cancelling it would jeopardize Canada’s ability to conduct business around the world, sending a message that signed deals would not survive a change in government. During the 2015 election campaign, Trudeau had dismissed concerns about the sale, saying Canada was just shipping “jeeps” to the…

Stephen Harper - gross as always

Hard to put into words how despicable an individual you really are Mr. Harper. You and your creature crew were minding the store when this unfolded and chose not to deal with it. Now, when the crap hits the fan and Canadian TAXPAYERS voice their opinions (as is their right, it's their money you squandered) and they differ from your own, you in turn imply they are not 'good' Canadians, publicly for the world to read. This is the domain of small narrow minds like yours appears to be. On the upside, the message clearly shows yet again that you do not possess the qualities of a leader so good on you for tucking weasel tail and hiding back in your closet after the last election.

CNN Doubles Down

As the curtain covering the ugliness that is CNN continues to fall, soldier on they must. The marques should actually read "Clapper: No evidence" and end it there. There is still no credible evidence of Russian involvement period. Mr. Clapper, delusional much, or perhaps another agenda? Oh BTW, as a reminder, this is the same James Clapper involved in an issue with lying to congress back in 2013.

Business as usual at Complete Nonsense Network, business as usual with the also usual plethora of personality disorders that make up a claimed system of government south of the 49th.

Theresa May says the internet must now be regulated following London Bridge terror attack

Madam, kindly go jump in a lake (another phrase first came to mind but I'm trying to be polite). I would like to point out that while you perhaps slept through history class there are lots of us out here who were awake for at least some of it. One thing I do know: successful terrorism predates the Internet by, well, I'll phrase it so you can understand: lots and lots. It's because of decades, nay, centuries of the UK & lackies (and more recently the US & its lackies joining the hose fest) of pissing in everyone's pool. You not only piss in their pools, you find a way to get the pissee to pay for the clean up and often take the blame too!…

This little asshat is the third of the season for us. Disgusting  things really but at least they are in no rush to jam their jaws into your flesh so there is a fair amount of time for you to properly dispatch 'em.

The black legged tick, not pictured here, can carry Lyme disease as well as the Powassan virus so one must be vigilant if they live near affected areas. If you've been burrowed into by any of the varieties, don't panic, but don't waste any time either.…

Dear Bill Morneau, I see you are on the attendee list for the Bilderberg meetings this year. I wonder if you are aware that these meetings are in secret with no press coverage allowed. Many who try to provide coverage are harassed and jailed.

Not sure about the rest of Canada, however, personally, your meeting in an official capacity with other governmental, banking and corporate types, in secret, with no accountability is tantamount to treason. Funny how others who do this are labelled agitators & terrorists and you call yourselves esteemed politicians & leaders.

I just call you all assholes . .

"Live from Pinewood Studios, director Sam Mendes revealed the cast and title for the 24th James Bond movie. Coming November 6, 2015 is Spectre. We also got confirmation of some new cast members: Christoph Waltz, Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci and Léa Seydoux. Spoilers in the form of speculation and rumor below! Well, that certainly sounds like we'll be seeing Daniel Craig's James Bond tangle with the global terrorist group SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion). As an organization, it's MI-6's main nemesis in the Bond universe, and we first saw in on film in Dr.
